To be a pioneer you must blaze your own trail and have the ambition to overcome any obstacles that arise. Our ambition is to change the perception of the IT sector by transforming businesses from within.

An IT provider campaigning to change the industry

At Stridon we change things for our clients, change perceptions of the industry, and change how IT works. Our complete managed technology service is enhanced through the bespoke partnerships we build with our clients.

Instead of providing generic technology packages that reactively addresses the here and now, we offer something unique.

By delving into the heart of each organisation and understanding the bigger picture, we find the right fit for each of our clients – delivering transformative technology with the future in mind.

Inspiration pioneers

  • Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX

There is not one other individual in the world today doing more to progress us as a species than Elon Musk. His endeavours in space exploration and energy consumption are causing the change that’s making a huge difference to society today. Elon provides inspiration that we’re capable of achieving anything if you have the drive to achieve your goals – even in areas people think of as "off the wall". This approach is central to me, and central to what Stridon will achieve through determination and belief.

Inspiration pioneers

  • Sir Clive Sinclair, who helped bring computing to the consumer market
  • David Bowie, cultural icon

Sir Clive Sinclair helped bring computers to the mainstream. This caused 12-13 year-olds to talk about code at school, meaning a whole generation have got an understanding of computing that they wouldn't otherwise have.

David Bowie ripped up the rule book on how things were done. Visually, at the time he came on the scene in the 70s we had had The Rolling Stones in jeans and The Beatles in suits. Musically, the way that he created songs was almost like a play on the chaos theory.

Inspiration pioneers

  • Chuck Yeager, one of the first people to enter space as a test pilot
  • Dog sled racer Lance Mackey, four-time winner of both the 1,000 mile Yukon Quest and the Iditarod Trail Dog Sled Race –a 1, 200 mile race across the Alaskan wilderness

Chuck Yeager was one of the first people to enter space, making it to lower orbit.

Lance Mackey raises Siberian dogs and achieved dog-sled race success despite battling cancer. He had multiple challenges and wouldn’t give up even when ill. On one occasion, whilst racing, his sledge broke and he finished by using just one ski. It’s something I relate to – not giving up and seeing things through to the end.
